Offical Outcasters Rules

1.        Entree Fee:        $120.00/ $85.00 Early Bird available until September 2, 2008.

2.        Tournament Dates & Location:     September 13th & 14th, 2008. Nanticoke Harbor, Nanticoke, Maryland.

3.        Eligible Fish Species: Rockfish, Trout, Hardhead, Bluefish, Perch, and Flounder

4.        Captains Meeting: September 12, 2008, 7:00 pm, West SIde FIre Dept. Bivalve, MD - Door Prizes to be awarded.

5.        Awards Ceremony: September 14, 2008, 5:00 pm at Boonies, Tyaskin MD Prizes to be awarded.

6.        Weather: Participants enter the tournament at their own risk and discretion, accepting full responsibility for the boat,           
            crew,   and anglers.  There is NO WEATHER COMMITTEE.  Captains and crew must decide individually as to their             
            boats capabilities to participate each day of the tournament.

7.        Weigh In:
WEIGH IN FISH MUST BE BROUGHT FROM THE BOAT ENTERED IN THE TOURNAMENT TO OFFICIAL WEIGH IN    
            
STATION DIRECTLY FROM FISHING WATERS.  Participants weighing in fish will be issued a receipt.  Once signed the       
           Captain agrees with the weight masters recorded.  Captains must have weigh- in number provided in the packet to            
            weigh-in fish at the end of the day.

8.        Protest: Any protest must surface at the time of the incident at the Official Weigh-In Station.

9.        Fishing Hours: All Participants must check in prior to fishing.  Check in begins at 5:30am.  There are to be no lines in the  
            water before 7:00 am.  On September 13th participants must be inside the jetties with fish to weigh in by 5:00 pm.  On      
            September 14th participants must be inside the jetties by 3:00 pm.
NO EXCEPTIONS.

10.        The official scales will be open from 10:00 am- 5:00 pm on September 13th 2008, and 10:00 am- 3:00 pm on                   
              September 14th 2008.  All fish must be at the Official Weigh-In  station scales by the deadline.  It is the responsibility of  
              each Captain to have his/ her catch and be in the line by the deadline.
NO EXCEPTIONS.

11.        Tune to VHF Channel 6 for tournament updates or to report a problem.

12.        In case of a emergency breakdown of a participants boat, a contestant may board another's boat in order to weigh in.

13.        Only
One fish of each species can be weighed in per boat, per day.  Largest fish will be determined by weight only.          
              
Captains must choose prior to weigh-in wich fish is to be weighed in.

14.         In the event of a weight tied in any segment of the tournament, the prize money will go to the fish weighed in the               
               earliest.

15.        All fish are subject to any such examination deemed necessary by the judges.

16.        All fish must be caught in the designated areas with hook and line.

17.        Any suspicious activity or unsportsmanlike conduct are reason for disqualification.  There must be a report made over    
             the air on the Tournament channel to the judges who will act as deemed necessary.

18.        Boats must display registration number given to it and it must be visible at all times.

19.        No transferring of fish boat to boat is permitted and will result in disqualification.

20.        The tournament judges reserve the right to board any boat at any time for inspection.

21.        Participants entering the Tournament agree that all decisions made by the judges shall be final.

22.        There is to be no disembarkment or landfall for any reason unless approval to do so has been given by tournament        
              judges over the air on the tournament channel.

23.        Captains entering the tournament should attend the Captains meeting if they have not received the Captains Packet.

24.        
All participants must adhere to all federal, state, and local laws.

25.        The West Side Volunteer Fire Department and its sponsors are not liable for personal injury, property damage, and/or    
              accidents while engaged in the tournament.

27.        Catfish 50/50 - one Catfish per boat, per day. Largest Catfish will win overall prize.

28.        Kids Spot 12 & under. 1 fish per boat, per day. Heaviest wins overall. Kids must weigh the fish they caught.
