| August 28, 2007 around 2000 hrs WSVFD was alerted for a vessel in distress on the Nanticoke River ITAO Windmill Hill. Rescue boat 12 made contact with the vessel. The boat was secured until the next day due to being grounded on a sand bar. RB12 brought all souls to land. Units responded: RB12, UT12, B12, RE12, Dive 12 |

| September 1, 2007 around 1330 hrs Stations 9, 5, 12 were dispatched to a structure fire on Athol Rd. Stations 9, 5, and Engine Tanker 1202 responded to scene. Rescue Engine 12 was placed at Station 5 for Standby. Station 14 was alerted to standby station 9. Around 1415 hrs Station 9 was alerted for MVA on Rt 50 near Delmar Rd. Engine Tanker 1402 and Rescue Engine 12 responded to the scene. All units arrived and found two priority 4 patients. Units remained on scene for several hours, all fire personal turned scene over to Maryland State Reconstruction Team. |
| September 13, 2007 1700hrs a United States Navy Bell Helicopter had to make an emergency landing in the field adjacent to Ceder Hill Parkway. The Marine pilots were experiencing mechanical problems while getting his flight time from Patuxent, MD. The pilots suffered no injuries. Pilot crew was transferred back via a H53 copter. The helicopter was removed by Navy officials on September 14, 2007 via Tractor Trailer. |
| September 15, 2007 1400 hrs Reported House fire at 20434 Nanticoke Drive. Upon arrival house was fully engulfed in flames. 1215 established command Stations 5 and 9 also responded. Crews remained on scene after all flames were extinguished. Fire scene was transferred to Maryland State Fire Marshall for further investigation. Pictures via www.fithp.net |






| Stand By At Mardela: On Sat Jan 26, 2008 one crew from West Side stood by at Mardela for their annual banquet. Around 1800 hrs we were alerted for a MVC with rollover on Old Bradley Rd. When units arrived found that all occupants had no injuries. At approx. 2400 hrs Engine tanker 1202 was released to return to quarters while in Hebron's first due, Hebron, Delmar, Mardela got alerted for a house fire with entrapment. Engine Tanker 1202 in the area responded, when units arrived female subject was trapped on a outside balcony with several pets. Lieutenant Josh Pittas and 1202 crew threw a ladder and crews from Hebron removed victim from the house to safety. Female patient was transported to PRMC for smoke inhalation. All units cleared around 0130 hrs. |
